Let Me Introduce Myself

I now live in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas having moved here from Eureka Springs, Arkansas over 20 years ago. Earlier in my life when I was twenty six I found my spirituality. My Life became devoted to helping others.

That lifelong commitment led to serving couples by providing Marriage ceremonies. It was in Eureka Springs that I chose to be Ordained and certified by the Worldwide Christianship Ministries to sign Marriage Licenses in the state of Arkansas. I responded to a calling to unite couples in marriage and support those who wished to renew their vows. My husband, Robert, was the Manager of a popular tourist resort hotel/motel in Eureka Springs.

After he received numerous requests from guests at the hotel to refer an official certified to marry couples, he asked me to join him to become Ordained and Certified to provide that service ourselves.

Over the years, I have met wonderful people from all over the United States and even some international residents of the U.S. They span a wide range in age and have had a unique variety of cultural influences. It has truly been a joy and blessing to marry so many loving couples and
support those who renew their love after having been married for years.

I look forward to more years of enthusiastic participation in providing a formal declaration of new love and marriage as well as repeating a declaration of renewed and continuing love.

Welcome to beautiful, intriguing Hot Springs National Park in scenic Arkansas, one of the most unique areas in the entire country. It is a preferred location for those seeking a memorable destination to get married or renew vows. Hot Springs is ideal to combine vacation pleasure with “tying the knot.”

At 5,550 acres, Hot Springs National Park is the smallest national park in the United States. The Caddo (CAD-oh) Native American tribes controlled the land before European settlers arrived. Starting in the 19th century, several spas that offered baths with pumped in spring  water opened in the region. Many visitors with ailments such as arthritis flocked to these relaxation stations, believing that the mineral-rich waters could help heal them.
Hot Springs National Park is best known for the 47 hot springs that emerge from Hot Springs Mountain at an average temperature of 143 degrees Fahrenheit. The ancient thermal springs, mountain views, incredible geology, forested hikes, and abundant creeks-all in the middle of town-make Hot Springs National Park a highly unique destination.

The well-done museums, opportunities for soaking in a historic bathhouse, and various hiking trails make this national park well worth a road trip stop or weekend getaway.

A fun, exciting aspect of Hot Springs National Park is the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. It features a full service Race Track, a fine hotel, and a variety of gaming. A celebrated annual event known as the “Arkansas Derby” is traditionally held each year at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort on the second Saturday of April. Over time, it has developed into one of the nations leading preparatory races for the Triple Crown, which comprises the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. The 2024 winner of the Kentucky Derby, Mystik Dan, first won at the Arkansas Derby in Hot Springs National Park.

There’s more to come. Personal stories of the many couples that have enjoyed the services of Hot Springs Wedding Ministry over the years will be shared . Don’t forget to review the site pages to note the consulting and variety of support services offered in planning and participating in special celebrations of love.z
